Dr. Sam Hughes, Cornwall Geologist

Dr. Sam Hughes will tell is Cornwall’s Geological Story – the dynamic tale of Earth’s history.  He will explain how the landscape around us has been shaped, and the way that geology has also influenced the history and every culture of the county.

Starting with the very oldest, he will help us to recognise key geological features and, ready for your next walk by the coast, he will reveal to us how to read the very rocks beneath our feat!
