SUMMARY:Introduction to Botany'workshop at Marazion
DESCRIPTION:Making Space for Sand is funding  Budding Nature to deliver an Introduction to Botany workshop at Marazion on Friday 4th July. The workshop will begin at 10am at Marazion Church Hall with some informal but informative indoor learning. After lunch (not provided) we will head to the dunes at Marazion to see what plants we can find and identify\, before finishing around 3pm. The workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers and will focus on the most commonly found families of plants. DESCRIPTION:Seaquest Southwest is a citizen science marine recording project run by Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Living Seas Team. It is one of Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s fantastic marine projects aimed at better understanding\, conserving and protecting marine wildlife and wild places for future generations\, collecting sightings data on the abundance and distribution of marine megafauna around the Cornish coast.    \nJoin the intrepid volunteers of Mounts Bay Marine Group on Saint Michael’s Mount for a few hours of observation\, recording\, and fun\, weather permitting.  If interested and/or you would like additional information\, please contact us.  We are limited to 10 spots per date.  \n For additional information on the Seaquest Southwest Programme by Cornwall Wildlife Trust\, click here.  \nSchedule: \n\n10am meet at Folly Field carpark for access to the Mount\n11am – 1pm survey will run\n1pm pack up and return to carpark
